MÜNTER HAS BEST PERFORMANCE AT MADISON INTN'L SPEEDWAY, RAN AS HIGH AS 2ND
Madison, WI (August 11, 2006) - Leilani Münter had her best performance to date in Madison, her practice
time of 18.767 was the 11th quickest time in the final practice session. She held off the boys and ran a season high of 2nd until the last lap of
her heat race at Madison, she finished 5th.
"I was so close to a season high 2nd place finish and lost position on the final lap," said Münter,
"I'm getting faster so that's encouraging, I just wish I could have held them off for one more lap."
An accident in the main event ended her night early.
