(October 6, 2008) New York, NY - Glamour Magazine is featuring 70 women whom they consider to be environmental leaders in their upcoming
70th Anniversary issue. The women came from all over the country to attend the photo shoot together at Central Park in New York City.
Meet Your 70 Glamour Magazine Eco Heroes (appropriately, Leilani is listed as #57, her race car number!)
Eco racer Leilani Münter was among the group alongside Laurie David, who produced "An Inconvenient Truth" for Al Gore, actress Alicia Silverstone,
supermodel Christie Brinkley, tv host Summer Rayne Oakes, and Irmelin DiCaprio, CEO of Leonardo DiCaprio's Foundation.

While in New York, Leilani went to the Lucky Jeans store on 5th Avenue and took a photo with her ad in the front window.
"I had a lot of fun shooting with Lucky Jeans in LA," said Leilani, "and it was very cool to see the ads on the streets of New York."
