MÜNTER ONE STEP AWAY FROM HER FIRST RUN AT INDY:
RISING STAR HAS SIGHTS SET ON THE INDIANAPOLIS FREEDOM 100

(February 22, 2008) INDIANAPOLIS, INDIANA - Leilani Münter is ready to take the momentum and excitement she started with her impressive debut in the Indy Pro Series into the 2008 racing season.

Münter qualified fifth for her first open wheel race and was running in the top six when she was caught up in a multi car accident. Her impressive run - including passing five cars in a lap and a half - turned the heads of many in the open wheel community.

After seeing her debut four time Indy 500 Champion Rick Mears said, "Leilani did a great job, I’m looking forward to seeing her race some more."

Münter hopes that she will be able to do just that, and she is particularly focused on the Freedom 100 at Indy.

"I feel that it is very important for me to run at Indianapolis because it is our largest stage. It's a huge audience being on carb day for the Indy 500. I have a great team with fast race cars waiting for me. All the pieces of the puzzle are there now but one - a sponsor. SMART Papers is not going to be making any decisions until later in the year so I have to open up the discussions and let people know that I need a company to come on board for Indy. It's the biggest Indy Pro Series race of the year and I don't just want to be there, I want to win it."

Any sponsor appearing on Leilani's race car at Indy will be receiving additional exposure in the form of television production and print media. Details are available upon request. For more information email marketing@leilanimunter.com.

Münter's previous media credits includes Sports Illustrated, ESPN, USA Today, Esquire, National Geographic, five magazine covers and a feature in the January 2008 issue of Italian Vogue. Last year the announcement of Leilani's Indy Pro Series sponsorship from SMART Papers played for three days in NYC's Times Square on Reuters - the largest digital billboard in the world. view photos of Leilani in Times Square here
