DAY ONE OF DAYTONA ARCA TESTING RAINED OUT
DAYTONA BEACH, FL - (December 18, 2009) ARCA Series testing at Daytona was rained out most of the day. Only 24 cars of 60+ entries were able to get runs in today. Just as Leilani went into turn one for her first lap, it started raining on the backstretch. Teams were forced back to the garage and testing was eventually cancelled. "I was so disappointed to not get a lap in," said Leilani, "To look on the bright side, just on my out lap we discovered a tire rub, so it wasn't a complete loss. I can't wait to get out there tomorrow." They are calling for sunny skies in Daytona on Saturday and Sunday. Follow all the action live at http://arcaracing.com.
