MÜNTER MAKING HER RETURN TO FIRESTONE INDY LIGHTS Season Finale Will Air Live on VERSUS
Indianapolis, IN - (August 26, 2009) Race car driver Leilani Münter will be back behind the wheel of a Firestone Indy Lights car at the season finale at Homestead Miami Speedway on October 9. She will be driving under the umbrella of Team 3G, the IndyCar team which her driver coach Jaques Lazier races for. Her primary sponsor is Women's ExtenZe, an all natural herbal dietary supplement for women.
"I have dedicated the last two years of my life to spreading environmental awareness and unfortunately during that time, I haven't had sponsorship to continue with my racing career," said Münter, "I can't thank Women's ExtenZe enough for getting me back out on the racetrack where I belong."
Münter will continue her partnership with LED lighting manufacturer Novicomm and is also announcing a second new partner in Ecobabble, an eco friendly t-shirt manaufacturer who will be making Leilani's racing merchandise from 50% recycled cotton and 50% recycled polyester created by breaking down recyclable soda and water bottles. Each size large t-shirt contains 5 plastic bottles. Münter will have a recycle bin in her pit collecting plastic soda and water bottles for Ecobabble which will later be made into t-shirts for Leilani.

About Leilani Münter
Born in Rochester, Minnesota and residing in Charlotte, North Carolina, Leilani holds a degree in Cellular Biology from the University of California and along with her duties as a race car driver, is active in environmental causes. She owns an impressive 9 Top 5 and 19 Top 10 finishes throughout her racing career, including the highest finish for a female driver in the history of Texas Motor Speedway, securing 4th place.
Leilani competes in both NASCAR and Indy Racing League sanctioned events and adopts an acre of rainforest each race she competes in to offset her carbon footprint. About Jaques Lazier
Hailing from Vail, Colorado and currently residing in Alta Loma, California, Jaques graduated Chapman University on the Dean’s List with a degree in Business Communications. He is married to Angelique with a son, Cayden. Jaques is the younger brother of Indy 500 Champion Buddy Lazier and son of past Indy racer Bob Lazier.
Jaques led the 2007 Indy 500 before the rain delay and has competed in 6 Indy 500s. He set a track record at Richmond, Virginia and won the pole and the race at Chicagoland Speedway by 15 seconds-the largest margin of victory in IndyCar history. These accomplishments set Jaques apart as an oval-racing specialist.
Jaques assumed the driving duties for the Curb Records/Agajanian/Team 3G #98 car at Texas this June and continues to pilot the history-rich #98 Novicomm/Curb Records/Team 3G car for the balance of the 2009 season. Jaques is also driver coach and spotter for Leilani Münter and donates much of his personal time to charitable events.
